Welcome to Diesel Traction Video. We are located in Attleborough; a small market town in Norfolk on the original Great Eastern main line from Norwich to London Liverpool Street via Ely and Cambridge.

We began producing videos for the Rail Enthusiast in 1983. We had some good reviews in Rail Enthusiast, Railway Magazine and Railway Reflections. All footage included on Diesel Traction Videos was shot in the 1980’s over the extensive British Rail Network.

Most of the Deltic footage was shot in the last couple of years of service and all material from 1982 was on video tape. All analogue material has been digitally re - mastered and is available on DVD.

Diesel Traction Video now owns the copyright of all material previously issued by First Choice Photographic & Modern Traction Video.

So take a nostalgic walk down memory lane to those halcyon days when Diesel Electric Locomotives ruled the metals & hauled trains were commonplace.

 Most of the DVDs run for 60 minutes, but some are longer. See notes on individual titles.

Identification of locomotives, locations and dates etc. is provided by superimposed computer graphics. The DVDs are supplied in cases with some containing further printed producer’s notes.
