This volume features selected Rail tours interspersed with everyday nuggets that were buried deep in my archives and not included on previous volumes.

First we catch The Broadsman Railtour at Lowestoft, Whitlingham and Norwich worked by 40004 in 1984. Deltic 55002 calls at Wymondham with a special to York and 55009 is captured passing Wymondham and at Norwich with another Broadsman Railtour with snow on the ground in December 1981. The Deltic shots were taken on 8mm film but are of acceptable quality especially bearing in mind the subject matter.

Moving to 1987; 33008 is seen on a special from London Victoria to Norwich with
V.S.O.E stock. Close up scenes with the train crossing Trowse Swing Bridge, the Loco refuelling at Crown Point, stock going into the shed for cleaning, turning the train on the triangle with 31417 leading back into Norwich station. The train is then seen departing.

In July 1988 50022 arrives light engine to take on a Pathfinder Tour from Norwich. Scenes of the Loco on Crown Point are followed by the glorious sight of the 50 storming up Hethersett bank with the Inter City Mk.1’s.

In April 1988 D200 did the final run from Liverpool St. to Norwich. Looking resplendent in green livery and bearing the Headboard that she had carried on the
demonstration run in 1958. First 2000 h.p. Diesel London – Norwich replaced by last. The train is seen arriving and departing Norwich.

Also included is some shunting at Wymondham with the Guard using a shunting pole.  Plus much more.
